Stamford Squash Club is situated on CONDUIT ROAD, Stamford and uses the Stamford School squash courts. The courts are available Monday to Friday from 5.20pm and all day Saturday and Sunday.

Stamford Squash Club is a member of England Squash (formerly known as the 'Squash Rackets Association') and has a membership of 170, new members of any level are also welcome.

The club caters for all members playing needs whether they play for fun, social, to keep fit or competitive squash. Coaching is available to all members and an induction programme is run for new members.

Stamford Squash Club runs a League system and all members no matter what level are encouraged to join. There are also cup competitions which include handicap scoring. These competitions culminate in a finals night which doubles as a social get together and the opportunity to view the finals.

Three teams compete in the Leagues. The 1st team compete in the Cambridgeshire League. The 2nd & 3rd team compete in the Peterborough District League.

The club also boasts Tania Bailey as one of its members. She has made her way steadily up the RANKINGS with her best ranking being No.4 in the World. She is a dedicated Professional and is tipped to be World Number 1. Tania, a warm and appproachable person, is a very popular member of the club and can often be seen practising there.

We are also proud to have as a member, Michael Ferreira Jnr, another talented individual who was ranked No.5 in the England Under 19 Section. Michael is currently studying and playing in America (TRINITY COLLEGE). When he is back in Stamford he can be seen playing other members and giving sound advice to them.

On the social side Stamford often has Club nights with competitions open to all members. Squash tours are also organised and there is an end of season dinner open to members, partners and family.
